Why we started

Too many organisations were being left behind.

Technology is moving fast, and artificial intelligence is changing what a small team can do. In school after school and business after business, we saw people struggling to keep up.

Some were still running on old systems they did not know how to leave. Others had been charged far too much for a website or a system that should have cost a fraction of the price. And money was changing too. Cash is giving way to mobile money and other digital payments, and many organisations were not ready.

We can help with all of that, at a price organisations can afford. Our aim is to support as many companies and institutions as we can, so they grow with the technology and do not fall behind it.

Our path

How we got here

  1. 2016

    Software engineering certificate

    Before joining university, Awuzu completed a certificate course in software engineering.

  2. University

    We met at university and studied computing together.

  3. Imara Ltd

    After graduating we worked side by side as data analysts at Imara Ltd for about a year, until just before COVID.

  4. Two different paths

    Our contracts ended after COVID. Lubega joined a software company. Awuzu became ICT officer at Namilyango College, one of the most prestigious schools in the country.

  5. Running a school's systems

    At Namilyango, Awuzu looked after the SMIS, government systems and the college website, and designed and built some of them himself. Having many people depend on a system every day taught him what good service looks like.

  6. 2026

    MoreConcepts

    We registered MoreConcepts Uganda Ltd to bring that experience to more organisations.

Director

ICT officer and systems administrator at Namilyango College. He looks after the school's SMIS, government systems and website, and has designed and built some of them.

Co-director

Software developer. He studied computing with Awuzu and worked beside him as a data analyst at Imara Ltd before joining a software company.
